Window breaking vandalism, the curse of city and suburb has struck Rappahannock County.
Recently, several windows in the auditorium of the old Washington school were shattered by green glass marbles, probably fired from a sling shot. A kids’ prank? Not when replacement costs are estimated at S135. That takes the misdeed out of prank category and into the class of vandalism.
We hope the broken windows at the old school will turn out to be an isolated incidence.
