There’s been no help from any county agency. Not a penny in local tax money went to support construction. The Rappahannock Board of Supervisors in fact, cut funds for track equipment from last year’s budget.
This has been a people’s track from the beginning and now it’s time to celebrate. Rappahannock folks need to turn out in mass for next week’s inaugural meet. It’s a day for congratulating each other on a job well done.
