The Mt. Lebanon youth organized themselves into two teams: the first, headed by Carolyn Butler, included Tammy Butler, Timmy Caliandro, Betsy Jewell, Cheryll Lancaster, and Dawn Watson; the other, directed by Gary Leake, included Natalie and Angie Butler. Tommy Heffern, Kristi Pendleton, and Peggy Stephenson. The young people ranged in age from 13 to 20.
The Backyard Bible Cubs, open to children in grades one through six, featured Bible stories, crafts, music, games and refreshments for an hour and a half every morning, Monday through Friday. A total of 55 youngsters were enrolled in the two locations.
