The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company is holding its annual carnival Aug. 4 through 7 on the grounds next to the fire house.
Wednesday is family night with one low price for all rides for kids of all ages, from 7 to 10 p.m. A special attraction Wednesday will be flights of the Pepsi-Cola hot air balloon. The big parade begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, led by Beverly Cooke, newly crowned Miss Virginia.
