Mr. and Mrs. Ray Coffey and family accompanied by Miss Frankie Pullen of Warrenton are spending the week at Ocean City, Md.
Mrs. Roberta Woodward of Warrenton spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Smith and also visited her sister, Mrs. Beulah Grigsby in Rixeyville.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lee Knighting, Mrs. Ray Cannon and Donna Cannon with Miss Sarah Lowe of Charlottesville spent the weekend at Colonial Beach.
Michael Kearnes is spending this week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Rutherford.
Sgt. and Mrs. David Bliss and son Aaron recently visited with Mrs. Frances Reid in Culpeper and Mrs. Bliss’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Murphy J. Reid. A family celebration was held Sunday for the Bliss family at the guest house of Captain and Mrs. Howard Holschuh. Attending were Sgt. and Mrs. Bliss, Aaron, Mr. and Mrs. Murphy J. Reid, Murphy J. Reid Jr.. Mrs. Frances Reid. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Novak and Captain and Mrs. Holschuh. The Bliss' are driving to Ohio and will then be Hying to Japan, where they will live for three years. Sgt. David Bliss is in the United States Air Force. Mrs. Bliss is the former Miss Beverly Reid.
