Meeting
The Rappahannock County public school system is preparing the 1982-83 update for the Special Education Six-Year Plan. This plan includes statements of local policy and procedures concerning special education and related services for handicapped children ages two through 21.
Any citizen with questions and/or concerns about special education programs in the county should contact Pamela M. Rowe at the school board office, 987-8773. The Special Education Advisory Committee will meet at 3 p.m., Monday, December 13. to discuss the updated Special Education Six-Year Plan. This meeting will take place in the Rappahannock County Elementary School library. All advisory committee meetings are open to the public.
Christmas Shoppers Sale
The Catoctin Arts and Crafts Guild is sponsoring an arts, crafts and collectibles sale for Christmas shoppers on Saturday, December 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sykes Hall on the Loudoun County 4-H Fairgrounds.
The sale will feature many local artisans, Sam LeGard and his world famous barbeque, homebaked goods, candies and jellies. Santa will visit and there will be a puppet show for children.
Admission is free. The fairgrounds are located on Route 699 west of Leesburg.
