Sunday’s meeting found the fledgling association in stable financial shape with funds of well over $3,000 in the treasury and few bills outstanding.
At this stage, most of RAAC's operating capital comes from new members. The group is presently in the midst of a membership drive, and membership committee chairman Dan Lewis reported that the group was well on the way to its goal of 250 members. Membership now stands at 110. Anyone joining before January 1, 1983, will be a charter member.
RAAC members get reduced rates for events the association sponsors and subscribe to a calendar of events.
Some questions about the various memberships were resolved at Sunday’s meeting. The group voted that any membership except at the reduced student rate would be considered a household membership.
