Rappahannock people can mark the season by donating to a benefit auction organized by John Walker Jenkins on behalf of the family of Charles Grigsby who has been struck by catastrophic illness.
Jenkins is donating his time, facilities and services as an auctioneer and he's asking his friends and neighbors here in the county to do their part by contributing furniture. household goods, appliances and other usable items for sale. The auction is set for Friday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m. For further information or to arrange pick-up, call Jenkins Auction House in Washington at 675-3325.
