For those with a few dollars extra to spend this Christmas, an inexpensive gift to residents of the Virginia Baptist Home in Culepepr will be greatly appreciated.
Mary Beth Rustic of Castleton is organizing an informal gift drive for the elderly men and women at the non-profit home. White knee socks, which provide warmth and eliminate the need for excessive amounts of expensive gauze dressing, are being solicited.
Groups and individuals who would like to make a donation of one or several pairs of new white knee socks can leave the socks at Aileen Day Realty in Washington. The socks will be delivered to the Baptist Home near Culpeper before Christmas.
