Compton (right to left) were out collecting donations for the Castleton Volunteer Fire Department’s new ambulance. The highlight of the fund raising drive will be a gourmet buffet dinner this Friday night, December 3. from 5:30 to 8:30 at the Castleton Fire Hall. A ticket ($5.50 for adults and $2.50 for children) will buy country ham, fried chicken, assorted vegetables and casseroles, fried apples, homemade breads, desserts, coffee, tea and fruit juices for the youngsters.
