Saying that he hoped he could save the county’s schools about $5,000, Sam Rosenthal of Industrial Insurance Management Corporation appeared before the school board last week to present the audit report prepared by his firm.
The Richmond company had been hired by the board to review and analyz present school insurance coverage and suggest improvements and changes. An insurance committee, composed of Robert Eastham and Nelson Lane, had researched regional insurance management companies and recommended this approach to upgrading insurance. Another purpose of the study was to see if there were any economies to be found by changing present coverage.
