We wish to thank Rob Bayne and the Rappahannock News for printing the wonderful story about our son, Daniel.
However, I wish to correct one piece of information that might lead to a possible misconception about adoption, and especially international adoption. We did not have “hundreds of pictures” to look through to select our child! We looked at perhaps 9 or 10 photos of children with brief profiles of the child attached. These were the children who were available for adoption from Mother Theresa at that time. To even be given such a choice is a rare occurrence in international adoption, because so few children are actually legally available.
