At least 70 students followed me in, but I was personally proud of all of them. I feel both sides learned a valuable lesson. The students learned that those in political positions are not necessarily wiser or more intelligent than the greater public and those in governing positions must be able to answer for their decisions. Maybe you think our school has room enough to hold 255 students in either lunch or cafeteria detention. You obviously haven't seen our cafeteria.
The administration did all they should have done.
In closing, I would like to make an appeal to the citizens of Rappahannock. Education - quality education-is in danger here. The $120,000 budget cut is intolerable. f ir schools simply can’t stand it. It will leave our county at the bottom ol the. list when comparing teachers’ salaries and bene
