Joan said. According to her, business has fallen off drastically since 1979. She
faults the sluggish economy for the decline in tourism, which is what has affected
the Black Kettle. Whatever the state of the economy, Joan counts on a spurt in business during April and May, and September and the first part of November.
The Black Kettle’s hours are as follows: closed Monday, 11 a.m. to 2
p.m on Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday (reservations after 8 p.m.).
