Eastham invited both Democrat and Republican taxpayers to join The Rappahannock County Taxpayers Party. He claimed that many people are already members of the new party in “spirit and conviction....” Eastham will announce the details of the new party soon after June 30, 1986. “What the supervisors do and do not do with this budget prior to June 30 may have a lot to do with the nature of that announcement,” Eastham said.
The supervisors must approve the budget by July 1.
