Last weekend Ray T. and Ruby Cannon brought their grandson, sevenyear-old David Powell from Lancaster, N. H., to spend two weeks here. This is an annual trip for David, and one that he enjoys very much.
Another grandchild is visiting in Castleton this week. She is Lynn Fridenstine, the 14-year-old granddaughter of Donald and Helen Fridenstine. She’s having a wonderful time shopping and swimming. Lynn is from Lancaster, Va.
That brings us to the wise words of George E. Woodberry, who once wrote, “It is nice to feel the atmosphere of love round you once in a while, and nobody out of tune.”
