Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane at Lanham, Md., and with them spent a few days in Lancaster, Pa.
Kathy Hudson and Jennifer Lillard spent the weekend at Silver Lake Park at Haymarket.

Remember the Flint Hill firemen’s annual carnival will be held next week beginning Wednesday, July 31, and continuing through Saturday, August 3.
Wednesday evening will be family night, ride all evening for one price.
The grand parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and prizes will be given away on Saturday evening.
So plan now to come and support this annual event. The firemen and ladies auxiliary have been working hard to make this a big success. If for some reason you were not contacted to bake for the food stand, just bring it to the stand and the ladies will appreciate it. Come one, come all to the Flint Hill carnival.
The United Methodist Women met on Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Linda Miller.
Mrs. Marge Brown, District President of the United Methodist Women of Charlotttesville, showed slides to the group.

4-H Center Has
Pool Passes
The Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center has several new programs for its public swimming pool.
Because the summer is half over, the 4-H center will offer its family and individual passes at half price. The passes will be good through Labor Day.
Half season family passes will sell for $62.50 and individual passes cost $35. The pass entitles the holder to admission to the swimming pool during normal hours of operation.
The pool is open seven days a week from noon until 6 p.m. Normal admission price per day is $1.25 for youth under 13 and $1.75 for adults.
The center also is planning a special pool party in August for all season pass holders.
A special discount rate of $1 per person is available for pool admission after 4:30 p.m.
