Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Wood, Sr., spent the weekend in Pennsylvania. On Saturday they attended the wedding of Miss Mary Ann Kott and Thomas Wess at the Immaculate Conception Church in New Germany, Pa., and then spent the rest of the time in Central City. In their absence, their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Wood, Jr., and Jeremy of Maryland drove up to “babysit" thenpets and farm animals.
Baptismal services for all candidates of the recent revival services at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church were held Sunday afternoon and later Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holschuh entertained members and friends of the congregation.
