Mrs. Mary Bettie "Tapp, 71, died Monday, July 15 at Fairfax Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, John A. Tapp; a daughter, Betty O’Connor of Amissville; a son, William F. Tapp of Herndon; a sister, Laura Whisenant of Front Royal; a brother, William Doyle of Annandale; five grandchildren; one step-grandchild; two great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Amissville United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Steven Parker officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of arrangements.
