The plans call for 21,000 square feet of new construction on the present building. A new gymnasium will be added, more cafeteria space added and the gymnasium will be renovated into a 214-seat auditorium, the library will be expanded to accommodate 70 people and a part of the present library will become a combination science lab and lecture room. Four additional classrooms will be gained from the project.
Estabrooks also presented the enrollment report for the two schools prepared on Sept. 9. The elementary school’s enrollment figure was 572 and the high school’s was 3% for a total of 968.
