Myrtle L. Smith

Mrs. Myrtle Lee Smith, 61, of Amissville, died on Sept. 4 in Fauquier Hospital.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church and was a life-long resident of Rappahannock.

Her survivors include her husband, Ellis Gibson Smith, of Amissville; three daughters, Mrs.

Barbara Lee Coffey, Mrs. Peggy Ann Stringfellow and Mrs. Janice Lynn Cook, all of Amissville; one

son, Ellis H. Smith, of Warrenton; seven grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Lena Levitov, of Silver Springs, Md., Beulah Grigsby, of

Amissville, Mrs. Roberta Woodward and Mrs. Virginia Fletcher, both of Warrenton, Mrs. Ellen Welch, of Flint Hill, and Mrs. Nettie

Hitt, of Culpeper; three brothers, Warren Smith, of Amissville, Wilmer Smith, of Salisbury, Md. and Frank Smith, of Texas.

A memorial service will be held on Sept. 15 at Hope Hill Baptist Church. Reverend Milton Switzer of Castleton will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
