Wilson/Thorn family reunion A reunion of the families of the late Thurman Wilson and Julia Thom will be held Sept. 15 at the community fire hall in Castleton. All relatives and friends are invited to come and bring a picnic lunch. Lunch will be served at noon.

Homemakers craft sale The 14th annual Culpeper County Extension Homemakers Craft Sale will be held Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Homemakers Building on the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprise grounds on Route 29 south. The sale will feature crafts and homemade food items prepared by members of the seven active clubs in Culpeper. Area crafters interested in space for demonstrations or sales should contact June Lewis at 937-4352. Space is limited.
