Mrs. Irene Hamilton and her daughter, Mrs. Pam Garner, and Lauren returned to their homes at High Point, N. C., on Saturday after a visit with Mrs. Moffett Brady and 1 Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler and sons of Front Royal were guests Sunday of Mrs. Wade Pullen.
Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker and Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady attended a meeting at the Hinton Avenue Methodist Church in Charlottesville on Sunday evening with District Superintendent E. Thomas Murphy, Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Wince attended the marriage of their daughter, Patricia Ann, to Mark Layer on Sept. 7 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. They also celebrated Mrs. Wince’s birthday. They spent the night at Luxury Budget Inn. Pre-wedding entertaining included the rehearsal dinner given Sept. 6 by the groom’s mother Mrs. Kenneth Layer of Falls Church at the County Square, Seven Comers, and a champagne breakfast the morning of the wedding hosted by the groom’s uncle at the Ramada Inn at Tyson’s Comer. The reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Seagears in Fairfax. More than 300 friends and family attended from Virginia, New York, Texas, Mexico, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
