Shelter
Continued from page 1 agreement among the county’s supervisors Monday, the site will be moved. Bruce was said to have changed his minH about placing the shelter on his property.
Board Chairman Hubert Gilkey said “exactly the same” plans will be used at the new site as had been approved earlier.
Students from the Piedmont Technical Education Center will be asked to construct the building, Gilkey said. The county must supply labor and materials to prepare the site for a building, he said.
Gilkey added that he thought construction could begin as early as next week.
