Branch Robertson, of Richmond, Mrs. Donald Brainard Ashbaugh, of Marietta, Georgia, Miss Melinda Ann Garrett, of Annapolis, Md., and Miss Caroline Virginia Coleman, of Locust Valley (sister of the bridegroom). They wore gowns and carried bouquets identical to those of the honor attendants.
The groom’s best man was Mr. Richard Drayton, Jr., of Washington, D.C. Ushers and groomsmen were Mr. John Gillis Cleveland, of Bethesda, Md., Mr. Randall Charles Morris, of Washington, D.C., Mr. Edward Scott Smalley, of Berryville, Mr. Straun Howard Coleman and Mr. David Holroyde Coleman, both of Locust Valley (brothers of the bridegroom).
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club in Rockland. The couple took a wedding trip to the Virgin Islands and will live in Alexandria.
The bride is a 1974 graduate of Longwood College and is employed by HLC-Westpark, Inc. in Washington, D.C. The groom is a 1974 graduate of The University of Virginia and is a stockbroker with Kidder, Peabody and Company in Washington, D.C.
