Akron, Ohio, visited Mr. Atkins’ sister, Mrs. Ethel Clater and Mrs. Catherine Brown and his brother, Carlton Atkins and Mrs. Atkins last Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown spent the weekend at Raddison Hotel in Lynchburg where Virginia Hosts of Southland Tours honored Mr. and Mrs. Alan Montgomery of Birmingham, Ala., at dinner. Mr. Montgomery is the president of Southland Tours.
Mr. and Mrs. David Tyner of Palmyra were guests Saturday of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins. Sunday guests were Mrs. Charles Lipphard of Oxon Hill, Md., and Frances Leake of Warronton.
