“Any landfill site will engender opposition,” acknowledged Warrenton attorney Allen Olson, who lives on the Fodderstack Road. “So it has to be a site that is the least of all evils.” The board is not in a position to make that determination of the Lee property, he maintained. Detailed analysis of the Lees’ land and alternate sites has not yet been undertaken, Mr. Olsen pointed out. “The cart essentially has been put before the horse. It would be very premature to judge this site without a full range of scientific data.”
