The Virginia School Food Service Association will celebrate with a special menu (Virginia: Mother of Presidents/Salute to our Native Sons) to be served on Friday, October 17, featuring several crops produced in Virginia. Our “We have it made in Virginia” menu will be: Washington/Jefferson, hot dog on bun, Harrison, green beans, Tyler, chilled fruit cup, Taylor, applesauce square, Wilson, choice of milk.
Throughout Virginia, school lunch cafeterias will promote special activities encouraging student involvement, invite special guests to lunch and generally have a festive National School Lunch Week.

October 9 - Soccer at RCHS vs Wakefield Academy at 4 p.m. Admission is $1.50; girls’ basketball team visits Brentsville High School.
October 13 - Girls’ basketball team hosts Luray at 6 p.m.; soccer team travels to George Mason High School.
October 14 - Girls’ basketball team hosts George Mason High School at 6 p.m.; last day of first marking period.
