Berger, the county school dentist, will again be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays during the 1961-62 school term. All grade and high school children should take advantage of this opportunity. Appointments should be made through your school principals.
The Virginia Game Commission urges sportsmen to respect the rights of landowners throughout the state during the coming fall hunting seasons. The law clearly states that sportsmen must obtain permission from the landowner or person in charge before entering private lands to hunt.
The Methodist and Baptist Churches in Flint Hill are sponsoring a dinner to be held Saturday, October 21 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall in Flint Hill. Plates are $1.25 for adults and .75 cents for children under 10.

' years Mrs. Barbara S. Gentry, Flint Hill, editor of The Virginia Postmaster has been awarded a certificate of honorable mention as one of the top ten chapter publications in the nation.
James Massie of Amissville will represent Southern States Cooperative members' in the Sperryville area at the Cooperative’s district election meeting to be held October 18 at the Pelham House in Culpeper. Lee Thornton of Sperryville, manager of the local Southern States retail outlet in the above area will also attend.
