Lewis Butler Jr.
Lewis (Walter) Butler Jr., 46, of Viewtown, died Feb. 15 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
A native of Culpeper County, he was a retired self-employed auto mechanic.
Survivors include his parents Lewis W. and Olga Butler of Viewtown, his wife Alice Butler of Culpeper, a son Gregory Butler of Remington, a daughter Renada White of Manassas, a brother Liburn Butler of Viewtown, and a sister Valery Butler of Fairfax.
He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where his funeral service was conducted Feb. 19 by the Rev. Ulysses Martin of Alexandria.
Roger Stover
Roger Lee Stover. 40, of Front Royal, died Feb. 25 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Stover was born Jan. 1, 1948, in Warrenton, the son of Wallace B. and Margaret Green Stover of Amissville. He was superintendent for the Hazel and Peterson Co. in Fairfax and served with the National Guard from 1966 to 1972. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 829 in Front Royal and the Amissville Baptist Church.
Surviving with his parents are his wife, Deborah L. Stover, a daughter, Heather Leigh Stover of Front Royal, and a sister, Donna Stover Oliver of Amissville.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Ronny C. Stover and Wallace B. Stover Jr.
Funeral services were conducted Feb. 27 at the Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Jim Floyd and the Rev. Steve Parker. Burial was in the Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
