Rappahannock County Normal starting salary is $22,887 Position Responsibilities: Provide leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating Extension education programs in agriculture and 4-H youth for Rappahannock County Develop volunteer leadership programs and volunteer management systems for expansion of Extension agriculture and 4-H youth programming efforts and coordinate the 4-H Leaders Association activities. Expand the 4-H Educational Center efforts, assist with other Extension programs as a unit team member, and work cooperatively with unit staff in achieving balanced Extension programs and implementing the VCES Civil Rights Compliance Plan. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating, and reporting impact of educational programs. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Leadership experience and the ability to recruit, train, and manage volunteers. Computer/telecommunications/audio-visual experience desired. Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related area highly desirable: Master s degree preferred.
