The community extends love and sympathy to the family of Roger Stover who died last week.
Eliza Settle, affectionately known to many as “Grandma Settle,” has developed pheumonia and is in Charlottesville. Born in 1900, she said Sunday the Lord has blessed her with good health. This is the first time she has been hospitalized since 1926 when her son William was bom. I’m sure she would love to hear from her many friends. Martha Garrison became quite ill on Wednesday night and was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital where she spent a couple of days in the intensive care unit, but was released on Saturday. She appreciates the prayers of her friends.
Wilma Ray was also taken to the hospital emergency room Sunday suffering from a reaction to medication, but was released and is doing better.
