STOCKS OR REAL ESTATE?
Too many innocent investors took a beating in the stock market on “Black Monday.” What we’ve said has proven true. “The best investment you’ll ever make is your home.”
Thankfully, the real estate market is not subject to the same volatility as the stock market. Corrections usually come with more warning and much less impact. On “Black Monday,” millions of investors lost 20^to 25% of their total equity. It would be very rare for even a single real estate investor, no matter how inept, to meet the same single-day fate.
Real estate is much more of a hnads-on investment that the stock market. With stocks, you hope that others do a good job for you: your broker, company president, the national economy, etc. With real estate, YOU are the boss. YOU make the decisions.
For more safety and less risk, consider investing in real estate. You’ll have the added benefit of deducting depreciation, maintenance expenses and mortgage interest, plus consistent profit and fewer surprises.
