First, I for one could have sur- i vived quite well without seeing any 1 endorsements by our local paper of any candidate of any political party. I would have preferred to see better coverage of the local news of the county and to be left with the impression that the news you do report < has not been colored by deep-set editorial bias of any kind.
Such editorial endorsements by the local paper, which tell us how you think, in your superior wisdom we should vote, do not settle well on my stomach whether I see them in The Washington Post or in your paper. Your masthead boasts that yours is “an independent newspaper;” independent of what?
