Miss Nichols also performed in a special concert in October with the. Mary Washington College-Community Symphony orchestra. The concert was a tribute to the ship, its captain and the 400-member crew. Special guests for the concert were the USS Chancellorsville’s desig-. nated captain, Gordon H. Rheinstrom, members of the Virginia General Assembly, and the Governor-appointed “USS Chancellorsville” Commissioning Committee.
Miss Nichols is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Nichols of Flint Hill.
