Congratulations to Ellis Bingham, who has been named the new solid waste manager for Fauquier County. The Binghams were former residents of Delaplane. They currently reside in Amissville, where he is the Jackson District supervisor on the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors.
The community expresses sincere sympathy for the family of Jack S. White, who died Dec. 26. He resided in the Rixeyville area.

He traveled with his daughter, Jamesley Dennis’, family to Manassas for Christmas dinner with his granddaughter, Landra Grizzle’s, family.
