David L. “Buddy” Pullen, 46, of Route 1, Washington, was arrested New Year’s Day after he threatened his estranged wife and her mother and fired two shots into a pickup truck she was driving.
Pullen was charged with two counts of assault, two counts of brandishing a firearm and one count of destruction of private property after the incident.
According to affadavits filed in support of the warrants, Pullen’s wife Ruth, who has been separated from him since August, made arrangements to go to their home in Gid Brown Hollow to pick up personal belongings. After she arrived, in a borro.wed pickup truck belonging to John Wayne Burke and accompanied by her mother, Therese W. Foster, and her two sons, Pullen cursed her and then struck her.
