Horst Locher, director of the ski school at Bryce, works with Paula Campbell, Wakefield ski-club director. Locher, a native of Munich, came to the United States 23 years ago to head the Bryce school. Now a U.S. citizen, he is a fully certified ski instructor in America and Germany and a qualified ski-racing coach. He currently holds second place in the Eastern Masters Championship Ski Races and will ski in both the National and International events this year.
^ Several advanced Wakefield Ski Club members will also journey to Wisp, Massanutten, Hqnter and Killington resorts this winter. A group of students, parents, faculty and alumni will spend 10 days in Austria enjoying Alpine skiing in February.
