Roscoe Jenkins
Roscoe Jack Jenkins, 65, of
Front Royal, died Dec. ^29 in the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
The funeral was Jan. 2 at the Maddox Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Gore. Burial was in the Sperryville Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins was bora April 28, 1924, in Sperryville, son of the late Carroll Meneffee Jenkins and Arrie Pullen Jenkins. He was the owner of Jenkins Landscaping in Front Royal.
Surviving are one son, William Jenkins of Front Royal; three daughters, Patricia Tharpe of Front Royal, and Mary Rowe and Frances Thompson, both of Middletown; one brother, Louis Jenkins of Texas; one sister, Virginia Tobin of Front Royal; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The pallbearers were Hoover Foster, Willy Foster, Larry Jenkins, Emmett Rutherford, Richard Rutherford, C.F. Morrison, Ben Eackles and Zane Ganelle.
