Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Dodson of Staunton spent Thursday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Gentry.

Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Vest of Virginia Beach were recent overnight guests of Mr. Vest’s grandmother, Mrs. Christine Vest.

Mr. and Mrs. Rick Kinsey and boys Keith, Kevin and Scott of Front Royal were Sunday breakfast guests of her father, Mr. Frank Huff. Keith was an overnight guest of his grandfather. Keith and Kevin spent a few days during their Christmas vacation with their grandfather.

Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest, Nikki Calisto and Joshua Werner visited Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nicholson and Shane in Cedarville Sunday. Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Nicholson of Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Terry McCaffrey of Sterling, Mr. and Mrs. Don Nagle of Madison and Mrs. Loucille Settle of Manassas were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch. Emily and Katie Welch were Sunday overnight guests of their grandparents.

Miss Joyce Walker of Arlington spent the Christmas holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker.

Spending the holidays with Mrs. Linnie Cummings were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Roetker and daughter Megan of Spokane, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Klise of Portsmouth; and Gus Ross and Jake Amette of Washington, D.C. Mrs. Cummings and the Klises spent the Christmas holiday with Mrs. Cummings’ granddaughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Gencarelli, in Lynchburg.

The Flint Hil United Methodist Church will have worship service, 11:15 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 7, with communion. The pastor, the Rev. Merlin Shorb, invites the public to attend.

Mr. Frank Huff was a Sunday dinner guest of Mrs. Phyllis Brady and family at Front Royal.

Mr. Bill Wade of Chantilly visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard. Mrs. Shirley Wade spent Thursday and Friday with her parents. Monday dinner guests of the Lillards were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson.

Mrs. Paul Miller returned home Thursday after spending the Christmas holiday with her son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell, and family at Madison Heights.

Mr. and Mrs. David Calisto and Nikki visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Calisto, and his grandmother, Mrs. Rose Calisto, at Takoma Park, Md., Wednesday.
