Although V"/ Memorial Day is traditionally a holiday and county offices are closed, the collection was scheduled that day as a service to residents who work elsewhere, according to Home Extension Agent Helen Smith. The newspaper collection trailer at the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department has been removed, County Administrator John McCarthy announced this week. The t company which had provided the trailer, ;v Southern Scrap of Winchester, said that the declining price of recycled newprint has ^ made it economically impossible to '# continue the service. Mr. McCarthy said tfie
