The hardware and software for the computer stations was donated to LFCC by Potomac Edison Co., which has taken a leading role in bringing computer technology to the schools in its service area, including Rappahannock County’s public schools.
“We couldn’t have gotten this far without Potomac Edison, which gave us all the computer equipment,” said Linda Dietel, another Rappahannock County resident who is heading the Foundation’s fundraising project.
The mobile computer lab is scheduled for delivery in August, just in time for the fall semester.
