Episcopal Church in Washington, this program provides a hot noontime meal for seniors three times each week, as well as fellowship with the other seniors who participate.
• Adult Day Program (Warrenton only, 347-9211): Provides day care for the elderly. Although this program is presently at capacity, Sallie Morgan said they hope to expand soon.
• Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock (675-3329): The counseling arm of the CSC, it provides mental health resources to all residents of Rappahannock County. Services are available on a sliding scale based on income.
The Rappahannock County Department of Social Services is located on Gay St. in Washington. It also provides a variety of services, including home companion and home care aides, as well as financial assistance for heating and cooling bills and some other expenses.
