If parked at the Sperryville Emporium, sightseers, guests and locals should take time to venture downtown — a camp of Civil War soldiers can be found near the Church Mouse, the shop located in the church, filled with a variety of handcrafted, both local and other, items. Faith Mountain offers music; Southern Drawl Artworks, a local artist featuring miniature oil paintings; Woodsmoke Cafe, a break from the outdoors with fine food and drink; and antiques, from various eras, in numerous shops.

On the other end of town, The Sperryville Antique Market features, besides the wide assortment of antiques, “high-on-the-hog” barbecue sandwiches and spare ribs. Church groups and 4-H groups offer homebaked pies, cookies and other goodies, to eat or to-go, from booths at various locations.
