The pavilion of the Slate Mills Baptist Church was the setting of the May 16 meeting of the Rappahannock County Garden Club.
Over 20 lovely iris were brought by members of their horticulture exhibit to be judged. Guests were introduced and reports followed on plans for our yearly memorial service at the courthouse, the annual convention, the Friendship Garden being established at the National Arboretum, and awards received by the club at the convention.
