Miss Rappahannock contest
The annual Miss Rappahannock pageant will be held Saturday, May 26 at 7 p.m. in the RCHS auditorium. There will be seven categories this year, including mother/daughter and Little Mr. Rappahannock for boys ages two to six. Contestants must be county residents, and between the ages of 2 and 19. A rehearsal will be held Friday, May 25 at the high school. All contestants must attend. Entry forms are available at both the elementary and high schools, or by calling Nancy Leake (987-8971, or 675-3739 days). All proceeds will benefit the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
CCLC yard sale
The Child Care and Learning Center will be having a yard sale Saturday, May 26 from 9 to 4 at the Center. Lots of childrens clothes, furniture, books and household items priced to sell. For more information call 675-3237.
