Junior Troop 547 had a cookout on Friday evening at the home of their leader Mrs. Sarah Brown, to prepare them for their annual weekend campout which will be Memorial Day weekend.
Mrs. Jean B. Moffett left Monday to spend several weeks in Leesburg with her son and daughter-in-law and family Mr. and Mrs. Page Moffett, Billy, Sally Page and new son Richard Buxton.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cooper and son of Jacksonville, Florida arrive in the county on Friday night to spend a week visiting relatives and friends in the area.

Friday Mr. and Mrs. Greg Pullen along with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dwyer and Jamie went to Williamsburg. They went to the Jamestown Settlement and the museum there. On Saturday enroute home they went to Kings Dominion. While there they saw live entertainment “Live at the Palace” in the Mason-Dixon Music Hall.
