Tropical Sauce For Strawberries 1 cup plain yogurt 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained 3 tablespoons honey 1 tablespoon lemon juice 3 small bananas, cut up Fresh strawberries Place yogurt, pineapple, honey, lemon juice, and cut up banana in electric blender. Blend at low speed for seconds. Chill. Place slightly sweetened strawberries in sherbert glasses. Pour several spoonfuls of sauce over berries. Heavenly Strawbeery Jam 2 cups crushed strawberries 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 to 3 tablespoons grated orange rind 1 package powdered fruit pectin 5 cups sugar Combine ingredients (except sugar) in large kettle. Bring mixture to full rolling boil; add sugar. Place over high heat; bring to full rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir and skim 5 minutes. Note: 1 teaspoon of butter may be stirred into jam just before removing from heat. This eliminates skimming. Ladle into hot, sterilized jars; seal with melted paraffin. Yield: 6 half pints.
