Welfare League to elect officers

The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will be electing officers for the term 1990-91 at a meeting on Aug. 7. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the usual meeting place of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department. All members are urged to attend.

The Middle Street Gallery is offering several summer art classes. “Mediation in Drawing” will meet July 22 from 1-4 p.m. The instructor is Lynn Weber. The cost is $20 for members, $25 for non-members, beginners and non-artists are welcome.
