Mrs. Richard Price of Ashville, North Carolina and Mrs. Betty Cahill of Front Royal were dinner guests last Sunday of Mrs. Cary Thornhill and Mrs. A.B. Honts, also of Ashville who had spent the week with her sisters, Mrs. Thornhill and Mrs. Butler. Mrs. Price and Mrs. Honts, accompanied Mrs. Cahill back to Front Royal for several days visit before returning to their home in Ashville, N.C.
Mr. and Mrs. Chriss Hetzer have announced the birth of their first child Sarah Lynne who was bom on Monday, July 2 at Columbia Hospital in Washington, D.C. and weighing in at 8 lbs., 9 oz. Grandparents of the new infant are Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Hetzer III of Spotsylvania, Mrs. Richard Russell of Arlington and Mrs. Kathy Topley of Sterling. Mother and baby returned to their home here at Frazier’s homeplace and both are doing fine.
Last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thornhill of “Grayson Hill” were luncheon guests of Mrs. Cary Thornhill.
Thursday luncheon guests of Mrs. Thornhill were Mrs. Lottie Johnston and Mrs. George Butler.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family were Sunday supper guests of Mrs. Alvin Atkins in Sperryville.
Miss Patricia Dodson of BostonReva route is in critical condition in the University of Virginia Hospital following an automobile accident on Rt. 229 Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Clatterbuck, Heather, Brian, Patsy and Nathan attended the fireworks display in Washington on July 4th. On Sunday they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Southard of Woodville.

The Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church held their baptismal services at Rock Mills Sunday afternoon when five were baptized.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Winkler are beaming with joy upon the arrival of a new grandson Robert Kent, bom to their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Kent Higginbotham of Orange on Saturday, July 7.
Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Wells, Ralph Green and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Litton and Miss Ruby Green all of Mt. Jackson were Wednesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan. Miss Trisha Duncan of Fort Worth, Texas is visiting her grandparents at this time.
